Their adventure started with an after-dark arrival at the resort. They were welcomed with cold champagne and warm greetings from Ronald Cooke Jr., Diversified's Chief Operating Officer.

The travelers awakened to their first real look at the stunning, sun-drenched resort. Many of them chose to again avail themselves of room service in the comfort of their rooms, while others chose to dive into the plentiful breakfast buffet. The pool, a focus of resort activity, was spectacular. A short walk to the beach gave our adventurers an access to local vendors and a breath-taking ocean view. In addition to the many free activities provided to resort guests, a smorgasbord of tours was revealed. A zip-line trip spanning the pool proved to be a popular choice for working off tensions accumulated through months of patient care and everyday concerns. Others of our group passed on the pool and the zip-line and took advantage of horseback riding along the beautiful Costa Rican beaches, or pitched into bike riding, volleyball, water aerobics, snorkeling, kayaking, and the many other activities included with their stay.

Dinner reservations had to be made for each evening, choosing one of the seven restaurants located on the property. After dinner many of our travelers opted to attend the show put on by the resort staff. A different show, featuring everything from music with a local flair to songs from the Broadway's Chicago, was presented every night. Those who didn't attend the resort's featured shows tried their hands at the casino or relaxed by enjoying a drink around a bar featuring a fountain with fire rising from the center.

After a week of fun and relaxing vibrations, those that attended the rewards trip, set sail and returned home with remarkable images of the lush landscape and beautiful beaches of Liberia, Costa Rica.
