Plasma: Taking GP Lenses to a New Level of Comfort and Wettability

What is the Plasma Treatment Process?

Plasma Treatment is a computer-controlled process in which after manufacturing; Gas Permeable contact lenses are placed into an airtight treatment chamber, air is evacuated from the chamber and is replaced with pure oxygen. This cold oxygen plasma treatment uses Radio Frequency (RF) energy to excite the oxygen gas in the plasma chamber at room temperature. The excited oxygen particles will breakdown non-visible oil films and microscopic residue which are then evacuated from the plasma chamber.
